ABOUT THE PROJECT

We proudly present our vision for the new Chupaca City Council in Junín, Peru. Inspired by the vibrant local culture—particularly the Shapish warrior dance—this preliminary design blends modern civic infrastructure with tradition. Durable, cost-efficient materials and a vibrant atrium staircase help define a space that reflects community pride.

Designing with hierarchy, efficiency, and light

The project spans 8 levels with a basement to reduce excavation costs. Levels 1 and 2 host public and social areas, while executive offices occupy levels 3 to 8. A key architectural feature is the central staircase leading to the reception atrium, reinforcing the building’s symbolic importance. The design includes passive cross-ventilation and optimized use of natural light for energy efficiency and user comfort, ensuring both functional excellence and sustainability.
